The Gotthard is a family hotel that has grown and evolved from generation to generation, reaching the third generation of owners. Always managed with passion and attention to the smallest details, since its first day. Tradition and friendliness, innovation and authenticity are all elements of this lovely hotel in the Vorarlberg region.
A truly unmissable experience
The beer tasting in the Gotthard brewery. Located in the old bakery (OMES world of delights), they produce a natural beer, pure and full of character, just like the Lech mountain, the Omeshorn (2557 mt).

Lech am Arlberg, the small alpine village will be a delightful surprise for the everyone visiting Switzerland and Austria. A two and half hour scenic drive on the Arlberg Express Bus from the Zurich Airport unfolds the brilliant panorama that it offers. Hotel Gotthard by Hamiczech Travel Tips
Hotel Gotthard in Lech is a traditional family alpine hotel, run by several generations of the Walch family. Guests like to return here and gradually become friends. We only heard German and English speaking clients here.
What I would mention as the highlights of this hotel (the best) is the location, beautiful large rooms, great wellness, great food, own bakery and patisserie and beware! For beer lovers - own brewery! In addition, you do not have to pay for ski passes, they will issue them to you directly at the hotel. Email communication was also quick and helpful. All staff always smiling and kind.
Hotel Gotthard consists of two interconnected buildings and is within walking distance (yes, even in ski boots) from the cable car that takes you above the hotel (you can go around The White Ring) or the chair lift on the opposite slopes (a short distance away is the cabin ), where there are many great slopes. We skied mainly here, because you can't get straight down from the cabin above the hotel, you have to go around Zürs. It was nice that in January, when there was enough snow, they did not clear the sidewalks to dryness, there was a layer of groomed snow so walking in ski boots was much better than on bare asphalt.

Beautiful hotel for skiers and mountain lovers
Really great mountain hotel, in walking distance (also in skiboots) from cable ways in luxurious ski area Lech. The best ski slopes from the whole Arlberg region, mostly on the sun. We had superior double room 306 under the roof with a great view of Lech and ski slopes. Room was really big, with all the comfort you need. Hotel has beautiful new wellness area with quite big swimming pool, where is enough space for swimming and together 5 saunas. Choose half-board. Breakfast is very good and dinner, this is concert. 4 starters, main course and dessert. To be on diet here is not good idea :)) Hotel has also own bakery and brewery (and Omes beer was really good, we from the Czech Republic should know it :) If you want to read my whole review and watch all the photos and also video, here is link: https://www.hamiczech.tips/l/austria-lech-hotel-gotthard-hamiczech/
