2 activities offered every day. The first is the guided tour of the magnificent 15th century Convent, accompanied by the Concierge who will share the secrets and legends that are part of the rich history of the Convento do Espinheiro (every day at 5pm); The second activity is the wine tasting in the gothic cistern of the Convent, now transformed into a wine-bar, where the Sommelier will offer you 3 wines from the prestigious wine region, to be tasted (every day at 18:00).

There is a quiet outdoor infinity pool surrounded by gardens and a bar (seasonal) as well as a children's pool near the waterfall. There is also an indoor heated swimming pool at the Health Club. The latter is for adults and children over 16 years only.

Cromeleque dos Almendres
About 15 kilometers west of Évora is the isolated megalithic Cromlech of Almendres, a mysterious oval made up of 95 lichen-encrusted granite stones that date back to between 4000 and 2000 BC. Mi sono trovata splendidamente bene al Convento do Espinheiro. Avevo bisogno di staccare la spina dalla mia routine quotidiana ed in questo hotel sono riuscita a farlo. Una piscina meravigliosa in mezzo al verde, un ristorante delizioso e poi ho fatto dei wine tasting pazzeschi. Ho assaggiato dei vini portoghesi incredibili e questo grazie alla bravura ed alla profonda conoscenza del Sommelier. Adesso so dove dirigermi quando avrò bisogno nuovamente di allontanarmi dal mondo esterno. Ho viaggiato da sola.
