Designed by Ryder Cup player Dave Thomas, Abama Golf's is located 1.4 km from The Ritz-Carlton, Abama. With par 72, this golf course pays tribute to the varied territory of Tenerife with 22 water hazards and white sand bunkers that require the utmost attention from all types of players, palm trees and tropical vegetation of the island.

Private Beach
Set on a cliff flanked by green plantations, Abama Beach is one of the best places where to watch the sunset, with the Atlantic Ocean as the main stage and La Gomera Island on the horizon.

Another natural attraction to be found on the island of Tenerife is the cliffs of Los Gigantes, situated on the islands northwest coast. Los Gigantes translates into English as “The Giants” and the name is fitting for the impressive mountains which soar skywards between 500 and 800 metres. One of the best ways to get up close and personal with Los Gigantes is to climb aboard a boat and view them from the sea. You can also take a walk along the top of the cliffs and follow the path which leads you to the base where there is a beach and a pleasant bay to take a dip in.

The Ritz-Carlton Abama is a 160 hectare finca tucked away in Guia de Isora. The island, the largest of the seven that make up the Canary Island archipelago, is just over 300 km from the African coast, and about 1.300 km from the Spanish Mainland. The 459 bedrooms and suites are arranged between the Citadel and Villas, and feature private terraces, all of which have glorious views over the gardens, mountains or ocean. The majority of the rooms are located in the Citadel, which combines ethnic and Moorish architecture with asymmetrical structures and earth coloured walls.
